Burning Self Booting games using CDrecord

Is it possible??? well here's the list of what you need to do that

Ok.. if you have d/l all of' 'em.. Here's what the step by step for it:

        1.      Put CDIrip, cuttrack, and CDrecord, and .CDI game you wished to burn in a same Dir

2.        Run Ms-Dos, and go to the dir where you place all of the stuff, and type :

cdirip <the name of the game>.CDI

3.        After the .CDI file had been ripped usually there are 2 files in it, 1 audio (.raw) file and 1data file (.iso). but sometimes, there are games that have multi audio, or multi data.

4.        Now, what you need to do is cutting 2 tracks from each file, coz if you didn’t cut the track it’ll only create a coaster, and you don’t want that. By typing :

Cuttrack Taudio01.raw

And then…

Cuttrack Tdata02.iso

I.   1st session

ok, by doing all the things in above you are ready to do the 1st session. for some reason some audio file can not be burnt by cdrecord after the cuttrack. Because it’s too small. So there are 2 ways to burn the 1st session.

A.      By Cdrecord:

Here’s what to do, go to Ms-Dos and go to the Dir, and type:

                Cdrecord -scanbus

This should show you a list of CD-ROM and CD-Recorder units installed in your system. Look for your CD-Recorder and find the SCSI Bus ID#. It will be in format x,x,x such as (0,1,0) or (0,0,0) or (1,0,1) etc. It will also be referred to as x,x,x for the rest of this tutorial. After you know the Bus ID# Then Type:

                cdrecord -dev=x,x,x -multi -audio speed=Y Taudio01.raw

where Y is the speed you like to burn it at (such as speed=8). And If you have multi audio file type:

                cdrecord -dev=x,x,x -multi -audio speed=Y Taudio01.raw TAudio02 Taudio03.raw etc

B.       By FireBurner:

·         Run FireBurner ( I used 1.06) click “Visual Cue Burner”

·         Right click it in the white screen and choose “Load Iso from *.ISO *.WAV *.PCM *.MP3”

·         Go to the dir where you put all the file you need and type “Taudio01.iso” in the file name path and click open.

·         If you have multi audio file put them all in a row, after doing that right click again and choose “Burn / Test burn”

·         In ONLY here’s what you need:

o        Writing speed: set anything you like except “MAX”, Max not always workin’

o        Recording Method: set it to TAO (Track At Once)

o        Check Eject CD

o        Check Multi Session

o        Check Close Session

·         Burn it, and the 1st  session is finished!!!

II.   2nd Session

Ok. If you have successfully burnt the 1st section you should see audio file/files in your CD now, In 2nd session I use Cdrecord coz it’s the best way to burn 2nd session. Go to Ms-Dos and go to the dir, and type:

                                                cdrecord -dev=x,x,x -xa1 speed=Y TData01.iso

For Some games such as Sfrush 2049 have a multi data file, and here’s what you should type:

                                                cdrecord -dev=x,x,x -xa1 speed=Y TData01.iso TData02.iso TData03.iso etc

And Press enter, wait for some minutes, put the CD in Dreamcast and ENJOY!! J
